Student Instructional Trips
*Student Instructional trips are premium trip intended for members of high school or college fishing teams that want to prepare for tournaments. You won't hear me brag about myself much, but I have won many, many tournaments over the years and I can teach you proven methods for success.
The focus on Student Instructional trips is on making you a better angler, not necessarily catching fish. This means we might spend a lot of time talking, assessing your skills, and possibly even doing casting or sonar exercises.
Each new student will be evaluated for his/her maturity as an angler. On early trips, we might cover some material that may seem fundamental, but I want to be sure that you have a good foundation before we start advancing in the content.
As the student progresses, I will focus my attention on where I believe the student most needs to focus their efforts. Topics we might cover include:
- Pre-Tournament Preparation
- Adapting to Changing Conditions
- Mental Toughness and "Fishing Your Confidence"
- Getting the Most Out of Marine Electronics
- Time Management
- Mastering Unfamiliar Techniques
I have a wide range of expertise, but across the country, masters of clear water finesse techniques, such as drop-shot, slow suspending jerkbaits, and swimbaits, are more rare. These are techniques that I have spent years perfecting and I can tech you how to excel in these areas.
I use Humminbird equipment, but know all brands well. There is simply no better way to zone in on key "high percentage" target areas than proper use of your electronics. If you need to polish your electronics game, give me a call.
If you, or your son/daughter are on a bass fishing team and want to become more competitive on the water, get in touch with me and lets start making a champion!
